Happy Father's Day in Olympus
There is a new 24 hour promotion for Hyperion in Creatures of Olympus in honour of Father's Day. At the same time, Kronos is in the Market for Father's Day and can be bred for a fortnight.

Basic Principles of the Game
Creatures of Olympus is the ancestor of Age of Pyramids and the basic principles of both games are the same. They are breeding games, wherein you build the appropriate habitats and then crossbreed creatures from two different habitats to create new types. The earlier Olympus game is simpler in that all undertakings require nothing more than Coins and the appropriate Experience Level. In Egypt, most buildings are done with Stone rather than Coins, making a second activity, wherein the Stone is quarried or obtained through transport on the Nile, a necessary step. Egypt has mini-games as well that allow you to collect rare Creatures such as the Mystic Pyramid and the Revival Pyramid (and Sanctuary).
Ordinary Breeding Lists are useful primarily for the time period that each Creature requires. When you can obtain a host of different results from the same Breeding pair, it is the time it takes for the one you have set in motion to mature that may give you a clue as to the Creature's ultimate identity.
Times for breeding some of the older Creatures have changed radically. The combination of Goat and Bull for example most probably will give you a 3 minute or 4 minute breeding experiment that results in Tauropan or Panbull. I am not certain why this was changed but it does allow you to catupult them out of the Breeding Nest or Kindergarten quickly to try again.
You will see that I have created a different Breeding List page for every Kingdom in the game as well as one for Seasonal Creatures. At the right side of any Post, as well as links that are given as tabs above every post, you will find all of the Breeding Lists for Creatures of Olympus.
Note that Olympus is different from Egypt in a number of ways, although they both are based on the same fundamental principles. As in Egypt, the number of Creatues you have obtained is what will unlock new Kingdoms or Worlds. You basically can choose whether to unlock Hades or the Water Kingdom first in Olympus. The actual Kingdom of Olympus will unlock when you have obtained a number of specific Creatures.
Unlocking a new Kingdom is only part of the battle, as in Egypt. Each successive Kingdom is more expensive than the original Earth and you may unlock these Kingdoms but be unable to purchase Habitats or Creatures for awhile...
There is another difference between the two games that makes a breeding list even more valuable in Olympus than in Egypt. In Egypt, there is a Scoreboard or Almanac in both kingdoms wherein you can see all the Creatures you have bred or obtained, apart from some of the seasonal or special Creatures that are not obtained through breeding.
In Olympus, there is no such Almanac. Until you unlock a second kingdom in Olympus, you can see a list of the Creatures you have obtained in the Menu that unlocks Hades, Water and Olympus as the requirements for unlocking other Kingdoms is that you have obtained a specific number of Creatures. I believe that you need to have obtained a total of 30 Creatures to unlock your second Kingdom, choosing between Hades and Water. To unlock the third, which will be the one you did not choose first, you need a total of 40 Creatures. To unlock Olympus, you need to have obtained a total number of specific Creatures. Thus, Olympus has more difficult requirements and indeed, another requirement is that you have unlocked the other two Kingdoms first.
As indicated, until you have unlocked these Kingdoms, the Creatures you have obtained will be displayed in the unlock Menu rather like a temporary Scoreboard or Almanac. Once you unlock the Kingdoms, however, your list will not appear anywhere.
Duplicate Creatures

A rather annoying tendency in both games is the way one will obtain a host of duplicate creatures often rather than a new creature. Every kingdom is different. One player may find that he/she keeps breeding a coveted rare Creature while another cannot obtain it at all. That is simply the way it works. Unlike Egypt, where duplicates can be sent down the river as Sacrifices, Creatures you do not need or want in Olympus have no function other than sale. As everything is done with Coins or Diamonds, unlike Egypt, where buildings use Stone that has to be obtained through shipment or quarrying, sale of duplicate Creatures is a way to earn the coins you need to build habitats.
How Level Requirements Operate

When you go to the Shop in any of the four Worlds and access the Creatures Menu, you will not see any Level Requirements for the purchase of any Creature. There are Level Requirements, however, in terms of actually placing or purchasing a Creature and these are attached to the Habitat in which the Creature lives.
A simple example is the Fish. You will not see any Level Requirement attached to the Fish itself but if you try to purchase and place it if you have not reached Level 4 yet, you will see a prompt to the effect that you must have a Fish Habitat on the ground before you can purchase the Creature.
Why then are there no Level Requirements listed for Creatures? The answer is that everything is Breeding in this game and you can BREED an advanced Creature even if you do not have the Habitat in which it lives. You cannot breed the Basic Creatures but you can breed advanced Hybrids even if you yourself are not at an advanced Level.
In every Kingdom/World, there are special Habitats for special advanced Creatures. Your first World is Earth and there the special Habitats are Royal, Love, Nature and Titan. There are low Level Requirements for the Royal Habitat as well as the other special Habitats, but they are very expensive, The Royal Habitat for example costs 3,500,000 Coins. Usually, when you first begin the game, you will be given a special offer to purchase a Royal Creature. Most of these can be bred using ordinary Creatures in Creatures of Olympus, unlike the special introductory offer Creature in Egypt that cannot be bred. Whether or not you choose to purchase the special offer creature or not is your business, but if you do purchase it, it will go into your Inventory until you can build the Royal Habitat for it!
Feeding your Creatures

Feeding your Creatures increases the amount that can be earned from any Creature. For ordinary Habitats, Creatures can be fed to Level 10. You then can purchase the Statues of the Basic Creatures in order to be able to feed the Creatures to Level 15. Upgrading each Statue allows you to feed the Creatures to Level 20.
A Creature is not considered an Adult until it is fed to Level 4. Any Level 4 Creature can be used in Breeding and higher levels do not improve your chances to obtain a rare hybrid. What higher levels do achieve is greater experience insofar as feeding a Creature gives you Experience Points to raise your Level quickly.
Clearing the Land

Clearing the Terrain of objects such as Rocks, Trees and old ruins of various types is another way to earn Experience Points as well as giving you more space for new Habitats, Buildings and Decorations.
